A little about the kewpie doll,
It was created by cartoonist Rose O'Neill around 1908,
it is considered a sort of fairy with its little wing on its shoulders,
Described by Rose 'as a sort of round fairy whose idea was to bring merry and be kind to people"
This was extra special as WW1 was looming.
It is a rare piece to find,
cute and charming with its rounded tummy cute face and wings.
All of these Kewpie dolls are hollow set in 9ct gold with registration marked on its back.
